First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is ray fung, and I have been a hairdresser since 1987. In 1993, I opened my own private hair studio in New Canaan, Connecticut.
I have invested in advanced haircutting classes since 1996 and attended numerous major academies and trade shows to become more knowledgeable and improve my skills. During that time, I found myself drawing many hair diagrams, and before I knew, I had boxes of drawings. Later, I started turning some of my favorite drawings into computer-generated diagrams. One day I decided to combine some of them to create collages. I matted and framed them and hung them on the walls of my studio for my own enjoyment.
Not only did I feel more professional, but also they made my studio look more professional (at least that is what my clients have said). I believe that salon owners like me may want to decorate their salons with these unique, original collages as well.
So after years of hard work and thousands of drawings, I present to you my first collection of hair design collages, my intention is to help distinguish salons, as well as to inspire hairdressers who are interested in hair design. Salon owners who want to decorate their salons with something more than paintings and photography may purchase my collages. I hope you will enjoy and benefit from them as much as I do!
